Sustainability - also an important topic in production

Since September 2021, DENSA AG has been generating its own electricity and is thus virtually electrically self-sufficient. By means of a photovoltaic system on the newly constructed production building, the same amount of electricity is produced in one year as is consumed in the production of the square fibre drums. With this contribution to resource conservation, we have massively reduced our CO2 footprint in production as well. In general, the building technology in our factory is state-of-the-art and designed for sustainability. Heating and hot water are produced by pellet heating. With the new building, we have doubled our capacity.

DENSA AG produces sustainable hazardous goods packaging of the highest category for the transport of dangerous goods. ECO DRUM is characterised by the fact that it has a square floor plan and is made exclusively of paper. This makes it much more logistically efficient and recyclable than conventional round drums. The paper used is FSC-certified and thus consists of wood from sustainable forestry operations. DENSA AG is certified according to ISO 14001:2015 and does its utmost to continuously improve its environmental parameters.
